Kid Events

Kid Events were created for capturing your child throughout the year, focusing around holidays and special events. They are for children ages newborn to ten. These are quick fifteen minute sessions where Karen is able to capture many interactive images. These events are offered at discounted print prices, allowing you to bring in your children more often throughout the year. You will actually schedule a time to come back to view and pick out your favorites with the option to purchase previews as well.

Families

Family portraits capture a moment in time so you can look back and remember how it use to be. Children grow in the blink of an eye and then they are gone. Whether it is your immediate family or extended family with several generations, Karen wants to create a family memory that will come back to you each time you look at the image. The session alone will be something to remember and not soon forgotten. These images will only increase in value each year they hang in your home.

Seniors

Your senior year only comes around once and we will try to capture the things that make you who you are at that time in your life. It might mean bringing your sporting gear or your favorite hat, your pet, something you collect, a favorite activity you enjoy or your car. All of these things will make your images unique from everyone else's.

Pets

Pets are just as much as part of the family as everyone else and have a personality all their own and are equally as important. We encourage you to bring your pets in to be included in your session. We also display framed portraits at Rainbow Valley Pet Clinic in Derby, Kansas and Countryside Pet Clinic in Andover, Kansas.

Spiritual

We also compliment one of your images with a scripture verse we pick or one that you request that has a special meaning or is important to you when expressing your faith.

Collages

Our digital artist will also create a collage made up of four to five images generally all in the same outfit. These can also be made using images taken of whatever your passion is.

Posters

Karen also photographs many different athletic groups at area high schools that are wanting her to create a poster for their team. These posters normally highlight the seniors. She and her digital artist then create the posters using the theme and vision that is given to them by the students. The Derby athletic posters are displayed at various businesses throughout the town.

Engagement

These portraits can help you share that "just in love" look and announce your new commitment and engagement to all your friends and family.

Boudoir

When you want that special gift for your husband, boyfriend or loved one maybe even for yourself, Karen will help you decide during a consultation exactly what you want her to achieve. It may be sweet and playful or sexy and sensual. It can be a very gratifying experience getting to see yourself look so beautiful in the final images. Something every woman deserves.

Maternity

Our maternity portraits show the beauty of pregnancy during that special time in a woman's life. Generally during the eighth month is a good time to consider this. Incorporating your husband and children in these portraits can also be very sweet and meaningful.

Business Headshots

Whether it is headshots for your business cards or advertising on your website, we can help you out. As professional or casual or creative as you want.

Newborns

Having a new baby in the family is one of the most exciting times in your life and so important to capture. Karen doesn't like to rush these sessions especially if it is a first time mom. A newborn session can take up to 2 hours depending on your baby. She also prefers that the baby be one to two weeks of age and that they are sleeping during the session at some point. She also feels it is very important that the mother, father and siblings, be in some of the images as well. This session is priceless!

Baby Club

Our Baby Club is designed to mark those important milestones in the first year of your babies life. The first year will fly by and Karen wants to make sure she captures it for you with beautiful still images. Our baby club is designed into four sessions. 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year. You won't miss a moment of your tiny miracle's beginning with a DVD of all the images from the four sessions at the end of the year. There will most likely be images of your child sleeping, screaming, druelling, laying, laughing, smiling, sitting, crawling, standing and sometimes even running. A lot happens in a year. If you also choose to do a regular newborn session your DVD is free and would include the newborn images as well.

Children and Tweens

These portraits will capture your growing child and their own unique personalities. They can help mark those special birthdays along the way, to show how they have changed throughout the years. Karen has the ability to catch their cute, shy, sweet, playful or even their mischieveous personalities.
